Last week Justin and Caitlin had a gorgeous summer evening for their engagement session! The temperature was just right and the humidity of the day before had lifted. These two became home owners at the end of July, so I met them at their new home in Rhode Island where they popped some bubbly to celebrate all the exciting things happening in their lives! They got the fire pit going as they sipped their drinks and we chatted and got to know each other.
Then we headed over to Rocky Point State Park in Warwick, Rhode Island. Rocky Point was an amusement park that was a huge attraction from the 1950s through the mid 1990s. After shutting down, and years of vandalism, the state cleaned it up and turned it into a beautiful park with walking paths. What’s really neat is some of the parts of the rides and attractions are still standing and they made for some really interesting photos!
Justin and Caitlin love being by the water and that was a big reason they chose Rocky Point for their photos. We walked out on the rocks at sunset and WHAT a gorgeous sunset it was! This summer is certainly spoiling us with sunsets! It was a joy capturing these two as they laughed and joked with each other throughout their session. I love how the sun spilled through the trees as they danced together, too! Congratulations, Justin and Caitlin! I’m so excited to capture your wedding at Glen Manor in June!!
