If you’re an avid blog follower of mine, I apologize for the silence over here lately! It’s been about a month since my last post and I promise I’m going to be back at it now! The past several months have been a whirlwind and it all caught up to me this fall. I decided I needed to dial back a bit and since I had so much work to edit and deliver to so many amazing clients, I realized that blogging and social media were what needed to be put on the back burner so I could focus on my current clients, my health, and my family. But now that I’ve delivered nearly every gallery from 2017, I’m so excited to get back to blogging! I really have missed it! Get ready, because I’ve got a ton of amazing families, couples, and weddings to share from this fall!
Since I just delivered this gallery today, I figured I’d jump back in by blogging this sweet couple’s engagement session. Jared and Celia currently live out in Kansas, but when they were back in New England over Thanksgiving we met up at the University of New Hampshire to take some engagement photos where it all began for them! Jared had served in the Navy and he decided to attend UNH when he was done serving. Celia had also decided to attend UNH. Just before starting, Jared made a last minute switch to the building he’d be residing in. Luckily he did, because that’s where he met Celia! At such a large school, who knows if they would have met otherwise!
Celia and Jared took me around their old stomping ground and showed me the dorm they met in! Since it was late November in New Hampshire, we popped in and out of some campus buildings to warm up along the way. Celia worked in the library during her UNH days so it was only fitting we got some shots in the stacks as well! It was such a fun evening getting to know these two before their big day next July. They keep each other laughing and I couldn’t help but smile from behind the camera every time they smiled at each other after sharing a kiss!
Are you engaged? How did you meet your fiance? I’d love to hear your love story and help you document it! 2018 is almost filled up, don’t wait!
