Tim and Katherine met in the common room of their freshman year dorm at Tufts University and now they live together only a few blocks away! These two truly enjoy where they live and are frequent patrons to the many incredible businesses and restaurants in their area. Tim also proposed to Katherine at their house after a day of hiking, mini golfing, and ice cream. They shared a homemade dinner over candlelight and jazz music and Tim popped the question! Of course Katherine said yes!
Hearing how much their current home and neighborhood meant to them, it only seemed fitting that their engagement session take place right there. We started the evening at their apartment where they shared some Tree House Brewing Co. beers on the front porch. Tim and Katherine know good beer! From there we walked over to the Tufts campus and they showed me all around where their love story began. Although it was an early November session, thanks to the warm fall we were still able to find some trees with incredibly bright foliage!
Our evening concluded in Davis Square where Katherine and Tim frequently go for date nights (or afternoons) at the Somerville Theatre. Some ice cream from J.P. Licks was the perfect ending to this Boston engagement session as the street lights came on. It was so fun to get to know Katherine and Tim during our session! They shared with me that they have many inside jokes and can make each other laugh like no one else. I definitely loved capturing that!
Katherine and Tim’s April wedding will be the official kick-off to my 2018 wedding season! I can’t wait for their big day at the Warehouse XI!
