On June 29, Justin and Caitlin became husband and wife! It was a hot, ninety degree day, but the sun was shining bright for these two! I had the pleasure of getting to know them last year at their engagement session, and I was honored to be there to document their wedding day.

After a fun morning getting ready with their wedding party, it was off to St. Barnabas Church in Portsmouth, Rhode Island to get married. Justin and Caitlin opted to go the traditional route and not see each other before Caitlin walked down the aisle. Justin’s eyes lit up as he saw her walking into the church! They had a beautiful ceremony and before they knew it they were officially married and walking back down the aisle hand-in-hand celebrating!

Their reception was held at The Glen Manor House just minutes away from the church. This historic house is a stately venue and everything came together beautifully! Guests enjoyed cocktail hour out on the patio overlooking the water; it was such a perfect summer evening! Caitlin and Justin laughed together as they strolled the property for some photos. There isn’t much alone time on your wedding day, so I encouraged them to enjoy these moments together.

Family and friends gathered in the ballroom for the formalities before dinner. Being introduced as Mr. and Mrs., Justin and Caitlin were smiling from ear to ear. Their first dance was so sweet as they whispered to each other and made each other laugh. There was roaring laughter as well as misty eyes when the maid of honor and best man gave their toasts. And when Caitlin’s dad gave his toast it was so sweet to hear how Caitlin’s parents have become such good friends with Justin’s parents over the years and they are all delighted to be family now. When the formalities wrapped up, guests took their seats in the other rooms of the house for a delicious dinner by Emery’s Catering.

After dinner everyone came back to the ballroom for a night full of dancing and laughter. There was an incredible blood moon that guests viewed from the patio as it rose over the water. It was a wonderful evening of celebration and one that Justin and Caitlin will surely cherish forever. Congratulations!
